Nowadays all foods seem to have their own International Day, which also goes for the waffle. If you haven’t already made your batch we thought we should share our Norwegian waffle recipe. There’s also a few pictures from last summer, making waffles at our country place, an old farm in Sigdal, Norway. Admittedly, waffles do taste best when made on a wood fired stove!
The girls love helping out, with everything from making the fire to eat the delicious giant hearts of buttery and sweet waffles. Served with sour cream and home made strawberry jam. Happy International Waffle day!
