Scandinavian Christmas Markets London 2017


Scandinavians are born festive, so London’s Scandinavian Christmas markets are sure to provide the most Christmassy of family friendly outings this November.

The markets is an annual event that Scandinavians in London flock to. Products on sale range from classic Nordic design pieces to more affordable toys, Christmas cards and of course food, Christmas cookies and sweets. And now you can join in too! The weekend you need to set aside is fast approaching; the last weekend of November. And it all starts with the Finnish Church opening its doors the 22nd of November…

FINNISH CHIRISTMAS FAIR – JOULUMESSUT LONDON
Finnish Church in London, 22nd to 26th of November 2017.
During the fairs Finnish Church provides live music, Finnish treats from cafeteria and grill and a huge variety of Finnish food and gifts including Finnish food like rye bread, pea soup, mustard, cloudberry jam, coffee etc. There will be Finnish sweets such as Fazer chocolate and salt liquorice. And it will be possible to buy Nordic design gifts from Moomin, Iittala, Arabaia and Pentik as well beautiful reindeer hides.

NORWEGIAN CHRISTMAS FAIR – JULEMARKED I LONDON
Sjømannskirken London – The Norwegian Seaman’s Church London 24th to 26th of November 2017
Get together with the Norwegian community to enjoy some mulled wine and Christmas food. There will be plenty of Norwegian waffles, open style sandwiches and much more. On sale is a fantastic range of Nordic Christmas gifts, knitwear, jewellery, and goodies such as Norwegian milk chocolate and sweet brown goats cheese, ‘brunost’.

SWEDISH CHRISTMAS FAIR – JULMARKNAD I LONDON
Svenska Kyrkan London – The Swedish Church London 23rd to 26th of November 2017
Undoubtedly the best mulled wine served in a authentic Christmas Market with live music and plenty of Christmas Cheer. A great selection in Scandinavian Christmas cookies, cards, gifts and decoration.

DANISH CHRISTMAS BAZAAR – DANSK JULEMARKED I LONDON
Danske KFUK i London – Danish YWCA London 25th to 26th of November 2017
Where? 43 Maresfield Gardens, Hampstead, London NW3 5TF. Nearest tube st: Hampstead and Finchley Rd.
Delightful Scandinavian Christmas Fair in Hampstead selling a combination of traditional and timeless Danish Christmas decorations as well as Christmas wreaths. There’s plenty of festive food and raffle.

When? Saturday 11am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm.

Scandi Market, 24th to 26th of November 2017
Outdoor street market between stretching between the Finnish and the Norwegian church.

Christmas decorations in paper by Danish designer Jette Frolich is to be sold at the Scandinavian Christmas Markets. I have in the past seen it at the Norwegian Christmas Fair.
