The Advent season and countdown to Christmas starts this weekend, with snow on its way according to the weather forecast as well as the Scandinavian Christmas Markets happening all over London.
The Scandinavian Christmas Markets in London is an opportunity to secure essential Christmas treats and gifts as well as getting into the spirit of Christmas. There are three wonderful Scandinavian Christmas markets this November; the Norwegian and the Danish ‘Julebasar’ and the Swedish ‘Julmarknad’.

Sjømannskirken London (The Norwegian Seaman’s Church) 17 to 20 November

Svenska Kyrkan London (The Swedish Church) 17 to 20 November

Opening hours: Thursday 17th 11am to 8pm, Friday closed, Saturday 19th 11am to 7pm and Sunday 20th 12 to 5pm.
Danske KFUK i London – Danish YWCA London 26 to 27 November

Opening hours: Saturday 26th 11am to 5pm and Sunday 27th 11am to 4pm.
On offer from all the tree markets is Scandinavian christmas foods and cookies, Christmas decorations as well as handmade gifts from various Scandinavian designers.
There’s also knitwear and beautiful textiles and of course proper wax candles just in time for the festive season. Food and drinks are available to purchase throughout, there’s music and activities for the children.
