Founded by Anette Nordrup, Gro Company is a Danish children’s brand for girls and boys, from newborn to 10 years. Gro is a popular girls name in Scandinavia but it also means “to grow”. And with a desire to celebrate the precious moments of childhood and to support our growing children, Anette designs a comfortable and contemporary collection of basics in soft organic cotton, fine woven cord and cashmere. The clean design and soft fabrics are much loved, especially by Little A in our family. The GRO Company collection for Autumn Winter 2013 sees rich autumn colours combined with fresh pastels, light fabrics combined with chunky knits, simple prints with sports and activity as a focus.
And then there’s the fairly new tween/teen line for girls. We loved the SS13 collection, and AW13 doesn’t stand back!
Sprout by Gro is a small collection made exclusively for the between girls, tweens from age 8 to 14. Sprout by Gro offers girls a different world of creativity, to be independent and confident through a collection of minimalistic and understated Danish designerwear. Young and fresh, yet age appropriate for growing girls. We’ve been a fan since the very beginning.
