Fashion Colour Trends for Spring 2013

Pantone,a North America based world-renowned authority on color, have launched the top fashion colour trends for 2013. This season, designers overwhelmingly address consumers’ desire for self-expression, balance and the need to re-energize. Thought I’d share with you as it’s such a delightful collection!

For over 20 years, Pantone has surveyed the designers of New York Fashion Week and beyond to bring you the season’s most important color trends.

The Swedish design label Gooey Brand, known for children’s clothes in soft organic cotton with whimsical prints, are spot on colour trend. We especially love this tee in African Violet and the dress in Tender Shoots. Both colour and style of the pieces but what really does it for us is the contrast colors on the beautiful prints. gooeybrand.com

Then there’s the thing Little Scandinavian probably love the most about children’s fashion, the fact that “what’s the trend” is only a source of inspiration. The designers often choose to go their own ways with unbelievable cute and playful colour combinations, possibly setting future trends!

Shampoodle ahead of trend for Autumn Winter 2012

Swedish design label Shampoodle is known for being extremly fashionable in a delightful childish way. And the good news is, if you happen to still have the child in you -they do have some styles in adult sizes too! shampoodle.com

  1. Gooey Brand is lovely. The quality is superb too!
Looking forward to see what’s new from Spotty Frog now… 🙂

  2. Loving the @Gooey Brand elephant tee shirt. Delicious colour! Thanks for the inspiration. Need to get myself a pantone book pronto! I’ve done a similar elephant design on fuchsia pink and it’s proved a good seller with the girls. I also love the fresh green and rich navy colours. Itching to do more designs now!
