We love Sprout by Gro, a small collection made exclusively for the between girls. If you’ve followed this blog for a while you know that the lack of clothes for tweens are something that we mention quite frequently. Our own Little B wears a size 12 years now and we really get to experience the challenge it is to find appropriate clothes for her. See more about tween fashion
We find it immensely exciting that it was in fact a sustainable Danish tween brand that caught the attention of the fashion experts at WGSN. We are so happy on their behalf, wishing them best of luck with the fashion award -and keep up the good work!
We were so fortunate to meet with the designer Anette Nordrup at the trade showlast February. She has already success with the children’s wear line called GRO Company. The idea with Sprout was to make a girly collection, where the naive graphic line follows each collection and forms amazing clothes for the betweens. Anette’s idea of her new line was;
There is still a little girl inside of me, and I desired to make a line for all the wonderful girls in the world. It was important for me that there were no expectation and no rules – just creativity.
