The Norwegian brand hosted its 4th runway show during Copenhagen Fashion Week, to show its new collection for SS20, ‘Past, present, future’.
Fashion-forward with a future
Holzweiler is putting a lot of effort into sourcing more sustainable materials and production methods, and to give back to society through donations and collaborations with nonprofits.
The brand prides itself to have managed to replace all the plastic packaging on their lambswool products with innovative bioplastic based on plant components that are 100% biodegradable.
Our goal is to become 100% plastic free by the end of 2019 and we are constantly working towards our goal of becoming a zero-waste company.

Their scarves are made out of recycled wool, produced with recycled water, while their denim production is handled with fewer water processes, fair trade cotton and non-toxic dyes.

The new collection ‘Past, present, future’ for Spring/Summer 2020 includes the Holzweiler signature checked print as well as bold colours such as blue, green and black to break up the otherwise Nordic muted colour palette. We like the volume, the lengths and also welcome the pleats. Highlights include oversized coats and jackets as well as generous pieces of knitwear.

About the brand
The Norwegian fashion house Holzweiler was founded in 2012 by the siblings Susanne & Andreas Holzweiler as a fashion brand solely focusing on high quality scarves from silk, lambswool & cashmere qualities.
Holzweiler was an immediate success, for their clean cut design, superb quality and earthy colour palette.
To further strengthen the team, Maria Skappel Holzweiler joined in 2014 as Head of Design. This resulted in the brands first Ready-To-Wear collection.
The brand has a showroom in Oslo and Copenhagen and is available through 200 leading retailers worldwide, such as Liberty and Selfridges in London.
