Bears Ice Cream Company is family run ice cream parlour. The concept is inspired by Icelandic ice cream traditions combined with English seasonal flavours.
It might come as a surprise to you but the Nordic countries loves ice cream. The summers are short but they are warm with plentiful amount of sunshine.
In contrast to the ice cream van, a fixture outside playgrounds in the UK, Nordic ice cream shops has a focus on very high quality soft serve ice cream. The normal fare would be to enjoy it with sprinkles after taste; roasted nuts, milk chocolate dusting, tutti fruity and so on.
But family run ice cream parlour in Shepherds Bush is taking it a step further, going a lot more creative.
Bears pride themselves in serving their natural and creamy soft ice cream in new and interesting ways, often letting the customer tailor their flavours or go for something straight from the menu.
We came across Bears Ice Cream after hearing about it from the lovely ladies at Icelandic brand, Iglo & Indi. And as the temperatures are set to pass 30 this week, we thought we’d share the cooling secret with you too! x
