Pitti Bimbo no.84 will take place in Florence, Italy from 19th to 21st of January 2017. This is place to be for discovering international children’s fashion and lifestyle products. As we will be going we thought we’d share the highlights, what to expect from the event, here with you.
The international kids trade show Pitti Bimbo, taking place 19 to 21 January 2017 at the impressive venue of the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, will showcase news and trends for AW17. Pitti Bimbo is long established as one of the most important fairs dedicated to children’s fashion and life.
The new edition will see the launch of new exhibition projects such as THE NEST. This is an entirely new concept featuring an exclusive selection of small independent brands. Situated on the Lower Level of the Central Pavilion, THE NEST will have a special setting designed to promote the brands on show in the best possible way: small emerging players in the world of children’s fashion, collections recently launched on the market but already rewarded for creativity and product innovation. The Nest is curated in collaboration with the Berlin-based store and concept lab, Little Pop Up Berlin.
Arriving from France, Portugal, Germany, Bulgaria, Sweden, Switzerland, Greece… here are the brands that have already confirmed their presence at THE NEST: Atelier Choux Paris, Cherry Papaya Kids, Garbo&Friends, Kalinka Kids, Lieblinge, Mara Mea, Monkind, Poupee, Robe of Feathers and Where is Marlo.

Other show highlights includes the Fancy Room which offers design and technology products for a fun, playful and creative lifestyle. Also of interest is the dedicated area for the Mini Traveler, which showcases products for the young globetrotter. As always, Pitti Bimbo does some truly amazing catwalk shows, and this edition is no exception. Make sure you do not miss out on the special catwalk shows dedicated to the luxury collections of the exclusive Apartment area.

The world of childrenswear meets in Florence this coming January for a complete overview of children’s fashion and lifestyle trends for kids.
Pitti Bimbo’s forecast for its 84th edition is to be showcasing 503 collections, 280 of which from abroad. The trade show is expected to attract more than 6,900 buyers, making a total of nearly 10,000 visitors.
