The unique blend of emerging talent, global design brands and super trendy Scandinavian labels means that the CIFF kids is one of the best places to discover forward thinking and inspiring trends during the bying season. The kids trade fair includes a fashion show, highlighting news for SS17. Here are our key trends.
Sustainability. A demand for organic came and then went again. But this time it’s made a comeback with full force. You’ll be blown away with natural fabrics, natural dyes, ethical production, local and hand made where possible and garments made to last to be passed down to younger siblings or future generations. And without compromise on fashion or trends. Long gone are dull colours and the hemp style. Sustainability will certainly look nice on your kiddo!
Prints. Animal prints are a carry over from last Summer, and the summers before that…
Denim. There’s denim in all variations, from different shapes and styles to exciting new fabrics. Mix and match as much as you please with styles inspired from the 70s through to the 90s. It’s all in the hues of blues, which is another trend for SS17.
After the trend show we decided to head to old town as we had been invited by the very talented interior stylist, Marion from Pastiche to come with her on a guided tour to discover the most trendy design shops in Copenhagen.
