Choose basics that are compatible with your entire wardrobe for work and play alike. And add a touch of sophistication with excellent fit and luxurious materials, for everyday comfort and style.

I recently bought a black dress from a high street store. The fit was great but it would soon come to show that the quality of the cotton jersey was poor. There were bubbles everywhere on the fabric just after being worn a handful of times! So my advice would be to avoid wasting money on poor quality basics that will not keep, but rather buy as good quality as you can afford.

There are brands now focusing solely on basics for a simple and slow living, such as With & Wessel and there are stores too, like F5 Concept Store in Oslo.

We like the sophisticated basic trend. But first stop must be to ensure above mentioned basics would be in our wardrobes. Happy wardrobe updating everyone!
