London’s most luxurious department store in South Kensington has launched the most adorable soft toy. If you are passing Harrods these days; let your eyes wander through the gorgeous window displays and you will quickly discover the Harrods x Papinee Happy Monkey sitting in between the luxurious high end fashion pieces.
You see, this little colourful monkey happens to be far more than a decorative soft toy! Born in the Chinese Year of the Monkey, he is created for charity, as an an artful cuddly good luck charm to bring you luck and happiness in 2016. Inspired by traditional motifs and charms you can find a four leaf clover, hearts, horseshoe and hamsa hand embroidered across this exclusive design. Children and adults alike will love this happy fella, that will spark positive vibes throughout the year.
Papinee’s mission is to give the gift of imagination to children around the world, fusing inspiration, cultural education, the science of play, contemporary art and impeccable craftsmanship, regardless of the child’s situation.
Whilst encapsulating the world of art, luxury and heritage, Papinee endeavor to give the gift of imagination to children, when they perhaps needs it the most. So after each toy sold in store, Papinee will donate one of their ‘Inspire Kits’, which includes a storybook, colouring cards, colouring pencils and other creative tools, to a child in need. This is in collaboration with the NSPCC.
