Memini has in 10 years time become the one of the best selling Norwegian designed childrenswear brands with a timeless look combined with exceptional quality. This season Memini presents a nostalgic collection inspired by Nordic fairytales and children’s books.
Memini was one of the first independent childrenswear brands designed in Norway, and is based on the Scandinavian heritage of knitting traditions and storytelling, like Astrid Lindgren and Torbjørn Egner.
With tis inspiration Memini is keeping true to its original ethos, that children should be allowed to be children. To be able to dress in comfortable yet beautiful designed clothing that can withstand wash after wash as well as tear and wear.
The brand was founded by mum-of-three Kristine Vikse
“I did not want my boys to wear bold prints from cartoons, but classical and practical timeless pieces that could last for many years. I have 3 boys, so I wanted the garments to be a heritage from one child to another as they grow.” Kristine Vikse, Founder and Head of Design at Memini
Memini combines traditional Norwegian knitting patterns with contemporary design in subtle colours creating that unmistakable Nordic style.
This is a small sneak peek of the new collection, from essential knitwear pieces to fairytale princess dresses for the coming holiday.
Memini caters from baby, girls and boys up to age 10 years. The collection is available from several Scandinavian shops and webshops – but sadly not in the UK.
