Pierrot la Lune has arrived in stores, with beautiful children’s clothing for Autumn. And what you shouldn’t miss is the Agatha dress in a lovely soft teal green corduroy. Timeless and just beautiful. But there’s more! Read on to see the new collection from this danish brand, for children age 2 to 10 years.
Danish Pierrot la Lune was established in 2013 by designer Emilie Ventujol. Loosely translated from french, the brand name means something like the comedian of the moon. I think. I’m no expert in french! But let’s take a look at new collection of delightful prints, organic cotton and soft quilted pieces and knitwear, for AW15.
Pierrot la Lune has also collaborated with the talented artist and blogger Kirsten Rickert. She has designed the beautiful Elle gilet, named after Kirstens daughter. Its gorgeous wallpaper print gives me associations to traditional Nordic knitting patterns. The cozy winter warmer is quilted with soft padding and red lining.
The campaign photos are shot by Emilie’s brother, the talented fashion photographer, Rasmus Mogensen. Pierrot la Lune also chose to collaborate with Ministrikk, to include their knee high knitted socks in the shoot.
One of our favourite pieces from the collection is the classic Ella dress, presented in a new lovely floral print on 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. The A-line shaped dress has ruffle shoulders and 3/4 length sleeves. Wear with her favourite knitted cardigan and leather shoes.
The beautiful blue, green and winter red floral print is also seen in the adorable Fernanda collard shirt.
It’s all in the details! The classic Pierrot la Lune Columbine collar in organic cotton is the perfect accessory to any outfit. It also offers to ad a touch of fashion with print on print. The loose collar is available in three different prints; flower flower, red wallpaper (as seen in the picture below) and ikat.
