Arguably the most exciting collection for girls, moving children’s wear into a new era, with a completely new colour palette, mix of gorgeous fabrics and tailored details. The new collection, for girls age 4-14 years, features delicate silks and silk blends, cotton and lightweight jersey for everyday luxury.
To launch the the new collection, Pale Cloud invited friends and brand ambassadors to an exclusive afternoon tea at the Langham, London. It was an afternoon in lovely company, fantastic food -and the pleasure of discovering the delightful collection for next Summer in historic and luxurious surroundings.
Incredible decorative, artistic and sublime sandwiches and cakes were served up together with champagne and tea.
Creative Director, Marion Reynolds, shared her inspiration for SS15: ‘Pale Cloud is moving into a range of fresh prints on light weight fabrics with silhouettes and colours inspired by ancient Japanese culture.’
Key garments in the collection include the Ora Dress in Silk Crepe with hand drawn vintage Veiltail print, the Delana Jacket in Pale Peach Silk/Wool Jacquard, the Jamie Playsuit in Gold Foil Printed Silk., the Akoko Dress in Brush Stroke Printed Cotton and the beautiful Colour Blocked Skyler Dress.
Marion explains ‘this is the largest and most diverse collection I have designed so far. We have used some new fabrics that have the luxurious handfeel that Pale Cloud customers have come to expect but are easier to wear for busy girls.
The colours are bolder and I had a lot of fun designing and drawing the prints, especially the variations of the Veiltail Fish!’
