“So Long, Farewell”

I went to a Memories Assembly for my daughter in Y6 this morning. The leavers were all sharing some fond memories, then the younger children got up in true The von Trapp family style singing “So Long, Farewell”. At the end of the Assembly there were a ocean of used tissues on the floor, in it suddenly daunted on me that my little baby is about to leave primary school.

But life is not only about being a parent of school children. I have a recent obsession with interior and home. I think it must be the need of bringing the summer and the light in, to make sure we make the most out of summer. Something the Scandinavian architects and interior designers are so renown for. Best Scandinavian interior blogs at the moment, excellent at sharing the simplicity of a Scandinavian design home are My Scandinavian Home and Beautiful Living.

On a different note, have you seen the weather forecast for the weekend? Apparently there’s soaring 31 degrees and basking sunshine ahead. Have you made any nice plans, to enjoy the weather?
