Rognmo is the CEO and head designer of the Norwegian fashion house. She’s from Stavanger in Norway and she has 3 children that give her lots of inspiration for the work she does. Elisabeth is creative and environmentally aware, and puts quality at top priority, which characterises the clothes from Jumina.

Our goal is to be most environmently friendly throughtout the whole process and make healthy and comfortly clothes, yet unique and fashionable to wear for the most important people, the children.

The inspiration for the he Spring Summer 2014 collection is European beach life in the 20’s to 40’s. The cut is simple, with focus on the details such as fun stripes and dots. Old techniques are used to make the garments; hand dyes and batik. They’ve used vintage cuts and every piece is hand made in fabrics such as light organic woven cotton, soft organic cotton jersey and supersoft bamboo. The colours, greys, dandelion yellow, tulip red, lavender and green are inspired from springflowers and minerals from Elisabeths new kitchen garden, vintage movies that she loves to watch and the fairytales and stories from her own childhood. Also, Jumina launches their very first baby collection for SS14.

Meet Elisabeth and Jumina at stand K17 at Playtime Paris 6th – 8th of July 2013.
