Bubble London is the number one destination in the UK for childrenswear buyers, press and last but not least the exhibitors – designers and their brands. This is a two days children’s fashion galore of kids style, trends, buying and networking taking place -all under one roof in the trendy area of Islington, London, from today!
There’s a strong line up with around 280 collections for Spring Summer 2014 exhibiting at Bubble London this season. However we thought we would draw your attention to the Nordic brands exhbiting today and tomorrow at the the Business Design Centre.
Småfolk
Retro and sweet prints, lots of colours and fun. Children loves the soft cotton styles from this Danish brand, and parents gets all nostalgic when seeing it on their little ones. This brand has some seriously devoted fans.
Villervalla
Swedish children’s fashion brand Villervalla, founded in 2005, has become popular for their functional styles, colourful stripes and prints. The collection, catering for children from age 0 to 10 is in soft cotton with a separate organic cotton line.
Aya Naya
Danish children’s fashion brand Aya Naya, founded in 2007, represents 4 brands: Mini (3 – 24 months), Aya Naya (girls 2 – 12), TAPPA NAKKI (boys 4-14) and Frankie & Liberty (older girls 6-16). This is functional combined with fashionable, to be dressed in layers in the typical Scandinavian style.
Stella Cove
Beautiful beach and swimwear for children, designed by a Swedish designer based in the US. The collection includes swimsuits, bikinis, boardshorts, sun protection tops, cotton cover ups, dresses and sunglasses.
Leopold and Livia
This Swedish children’s fashion brand for girls up to age 8, had their debut at Bubble London last season. They will return to Bubble London June 2013, and we are excited to see what they will show us for SS14.
But the Scandinavian kids fashion parade at Bubble London this season doesn’t stop there! Indikidual is a Swedish/British brand with quirky styles that within moments captured our hearts. Mini A Ture is a long time favourite, securing their position by delivering another gorgeous collection after the other. Molo Kids and Molo Outerwear has been not only celebrating their success but also their 10th anniversary this year, with collections of striking prints. Milibe is another Danish favourite with beautiful quality and lovely design, not to be missed. Brand new to Bubble London is one of the leading brands in Sweden, Björn Borg, now with children’s underwear in high quality with a sporty design. Name it brings their collection of fashion forward functional childrenswear with a very competitive price tag and finally Moccis is the brand known for children’s indoor shoes in fun designs.
