A giant poster featuring “Angry Stella”, a blonde girl dressed in the most adorable white dress, made sure Pale Cloud caught the attention of buyers and press, at a London trade show one frosty January morning back in 2010.
Norwegian born Marion Reynolds graduated from the French fashion design school Esmod in 1999, with a first prize for her final catwalk project. She went on to a successful career designing women’s fashion before having her firstborn. Inspired by her daughter, she founded Pale Cloud in 2010. She soon received recognition for her work in the children’s fashion industry as well, winning ‘Best Emerging Talent 2012’ and ‘Best Girls Designer Fashion 2013’ by the acclaimed British Junior Magazine.
Then when all of a sudden photos appear of celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt with their children dressed in Pale Cloud, the brand is brought from featuring in niche children’s fashion magazines and blogs, to the wider audience. The Pale Cloud Spring Summer 2014 campaign was recently shot in Oslo, by Sigve Aspelund. The photos are to be released to buyers and press this coming buying season. The same photographer also shot the new video
