Love wool, love Woolland

It’s wool week in the UK, 15 – 21 October hosted by the Campaign for Wool. This is a international event, also taking place in the Scandinavian countries as they have a strong tradition of using wool in fashion. Use of wool in fashion is probably so popular because of the colder months, very much similar to tho the UK (with temperatures sinking to Arctic conditions). Several shops in Norway sell only one thing; Wool!
The Norwegian concept store Woolland, was founded in 2011 by three women with a passion for wool and a desire to create soft wool in a beautiful design, suitable for everyday wear.

Having experienced many a cold day with their children having to wear wool and thermal underwear all day, they got the idea to make underwear in a slightly different way; Finished with unusual and cool details, yet in subtle and delicate colors this is essential base layer, beautiful enough to be worn on its own.
The Woolland collection includes baby from age 0 to 2, children age 3 – 8, tweens and teens age 9 – 14 and adults.
Available from the online shop woolland.no and in a Woolland shop at Lilleaker, Norway.
