CPH kids invited exhibitors, press and buyers to a children’s fashion show, showcasing trends for Spring Summer 2013. Brands included in the show was Christina Rohde, BangBang Copenhagen, PopUpShop, Poppy Rose, Molo, Indikidual, Soft Gallery, Mads Nøregård, Mini Rodini, Kulör, Knast by Krutter, New Generals Mini Nümph, MarMar Copenhagen, Angulus, Petit by Sofie Schnoor, I Dig Denim, Ziestha, Mini A Ture, Lego Wear, Ebbe, Småfolk, FUB, Serendipity, Sprout by Gro, Katvig, Petit Nord, Nova Star and more.
The little models had all been chosen at the casting a few days ago, some modelling for the very first time. Great set up and music created a trendy setting and the show kicked off! Main trends for Spring Summer 2013 is the mix and match in an sophisticated way, pale and soft colours are mixed with both traditional primary colours. Spring Summer 2013 sees also fluorescent colours continuing after being very popular for a few years now. There’s also a mix of styles all from nostalgic and traditional to more futuristic. New this season is a bold combination of it all, in a most playful way. Highly suitable for children and again perhaps an inspiration for adult fashion.
Key trends are the colour nude or powder pink, combined with red, orange or pink. More detailed finish, like collars, frills on tops, arms and skirts, gathered hemline on blouses, tunics and dresses. Print is still popular with a tropical and surfer theme. Good news is the continuing of the jumpsuit for girls, but in some new bold colour combinations and tailored cuts. Swimwear are vintage inspired from the 50’s including the never ending trendy stripes.

Here’s a few photos that Little Scandinavian captured during the show…
