Founded in 2000 as an industry initiative The Scandinavian Outdoor Group unites well-respected outdoor gear manufacturers from all five Nordic countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. Together they represent more than 1.880 years of experience in developing outdoor gear using one of the best equipped R&D labs in the world – the Scandinavian wilderness.
The competition for the Scandinavian Outdoor Industry is being hosted by S.O.G. since 2006. Up to 20 products from Scandinavian Outdoor Group member brands get nominated every season to compete for the Scandinavian Outdoor Award. The winning product gets selected according to the criteria functionality, quality, innovation and design.

Light Weight Baby Jumpsuit Eco by Isbjörn of Sweden for 2012/13 has a new 100% recycled polyester outer layer from TEIJIN Eco Circle. With this improvement the product is entirely made out of recycled material (except the zipper!) and is also 100% recyclable. So a great looking and a technical product -and 100% eco-friendly!
