Nordic bakery cookbook

The London based cafe Nordic Bakery opened in Soho 2007 and rapidly became popular for its delicious rye breads and sandwiches, cakes and excellent coffee. It provides a heaven of peace in the middle of the busy capital.
They’ve also opened up a Marylebone Branch since then. We love visiting the Nordic Bakery and was very pleased when we discovered the cookbook from Nordic bakery in our local bookshop. Bread, buns, biscuits, sweet and savoury tarts, cakes.
Their famous cinnamon buns is a reason good enough to get this book!
This cookbook, published April 2011, is excellent present for anyone who is interested in honest baking and sweet treats. The author Miisa Mink is Finnish, and the book do have a Finnish take on the various recipes. Nevertheless this is the book to buy as a present, to friends or why not -yourself. Remember children often loves baking (and messing about with flour) and this book will probably inspire you to cook with children. Get it in your local bookshop or online at Amazon.co.uk

We just bought it yesterday, as Little A’s teaching assistant is leaving school after 10 years of hard work. She’s one of the most kind and caring teachers both girls have had in school. And when Little A told me that she loved to bake bread, what better present to give her from the two Little Scandinavians than a Nordic Bakery cookbook?
