The two Swedish brands Acne and Tuss are collaborating and has launched a collection for autumn winter 2011 consisting of what Acne know best, cool jeans combined with Tuss’s speciality, soft and simple t shirts.
Acne founded in Stockholm in 1996 are regarded as THE brand of jeans, par excellence, absolutely adored by all self-respecting fashionistas. They have had childrens wear too for a couple of years now.
Tuss, also Stockholm based, is the ultimate simple solution with designs clothes for children from 0 to 12 years, minimalistic in color with a timeless yet contemporary feel with carefully selected materials of the highest quality. Successful with the simple concept “less is more”.
Jonny Johansson, Creative Director and Founder of Acne, is a personal fan of the Tuss kids’ collection by the designer Catti Aman and is a regular customer in their shop in Stockholm. Due to this private bias, the idea of a collaboration was born.
Launched at CPH Kids in Copenhagen for the first time a few weeks ago the collection for kids 2-12 years with retail prices ranging between €35 for t-shirts and €90 for jeans, will be available from both Tuss and Acne’s shops in Sweden.
