White is not only reserved for formal events and the Wimbledon… We love white for any occasion and especially for Summer! Here are some ideas on how to bes wear white and also, some of our favourite white pieces for the season…
Not convinced white is the colour for you? Feeling too dressed up? White can often be seen as slightly formal. Dress it down with your accessories; a casual bag and a pair of sneakers or simple sandals. Or break it up! We love wearing white with breton stripes, for the ultimate holiday glamorous look. Or simply wear different shades of white. It doesn’t all have to be ‘white-white’. We especially love combining crisp white with cream white. This combinations of whites works amazingly well with tan leather sandals and will instantly give you that effortlessly chic summer style.
So, just to illustrate…
This is the dress down sneaker style I’m talking about. Get them in white or metallic which compliments the white. I love wearing my silver Superga from The White Company.
White lends itself naturally very well to nautical stripes.
If you want a more stylish look, add a bright red bag. I really like black shoes, although flats would have been equally nice. A day out in those heels would have killed me!
Combining white and nude is a favourite style of mine. Of course adding a designer bag for style helps…
Typical Scandinavian fashion is to combine whites with shades of grey.
Different textures and a combination of fabrics are nice and can make an all white assemble look more sophisticated.
If for nothing else, white is the best colour choice to show off your tan this summer!

Still not sure if white is the colour for you? Afraid of stains you say? Although of course visible as soon as an accident has happened, stains can easily be removed with hot running water in the bathroom, or with baby wipes (if you have such at hand!)
