Scandinavian Architects constantly challenges themselves and strives to design houses of the future, both with aesthetics, functionality and new technology in mind. One new exciting property project includes Richard Baches vei 15, Nesoddtangen, Norway. We are suffering from proper house envy in the Little Scandinavian office today!
This rather exciting architectural project is by Oslo based DERLICK Arkitekter. The agency who was founded in 1979 has 8 partners and between them they share and work on projects of all sizes, from small lake side cabins to large commercial buildings.
This property development is set on Nesodden, a peninsula stretching out into the fjord towards Oslo. It’s a residential area, popular among city commuters and families. As the complex would be set on a rugged cliff above the Oslo Fjord it was important to the architects to blend the building into its environment and at the same time make the most out of the spectacular view. With this is mind, all the flats are featuring bright open living spaces, providing an easy and flexible living space for the whole family.
All the flats in the complex boast spacious outdoors space; with terraces and patios facing the sea.
And there’s no short cuts! Throughout there has been a focus on quality and attention to finish which results in a standard to satisfy the design conscious buyer; the sleek and functional kitchen fitted is from the danish company Hanstholm, there’s wooden flooring with underfloor heating by geothermal energy, the windows and doors are maximised to let light in as well as give unrestricted views…
The flats varies in size from 97 m2 and prices starting from 11 million NOK (less than a 1 million GBP). If you are interested in securing a home in this project, visit the real estate agent EiendomsMegler 1.
