Dive into Urban Botanicals at children’s fashion shop Olive Loves Alfie. Kids of London can get ready to unleash the botanist in them, this Summer!
It’s been a while since we last visited Olive Loves Alfie East, the second shop in London run by Ashlyn Gibson. But that doesn’t mean the place has gone quiet.
“I’d like to use the space for workshops, pop up’s and various of collaborations, as much as a shop.” Ashlyn explained when we met her this week. The talented shop owner is also a renown stylist and a author of multiple interior design books.
But it is still first and foremost a children’s fashion and home decor shop, with some fantastic collections on offer; Anive for the Minors, Bang Bang Copenhagen, FUB, Mini Rodini and Soft Gallery to mention a few of the Scandinavian children’s brands available. Ashlyn is also an avid supporter of homegrown, emerging British design talents as well as longstanding brands such as Gloverall. Expect whimsical and fun, mostly good quality items in the mid range price bracket, so not overly expensive.
Photographer Hannah Coates has captured the main trend in store for Spring Summer 2016, Urban Botanicals, in this beautiful mini campaign starring her new collection – as well as her famous Silver Cross pram that has become a landmark in its own right in East Village.
Kids of London – get ready to explore! Olive Loves Alfie has a shop in Stoke Newington and East Village as well as online.
