Gone skiing!

For the last 14 years we’ve always gone to Norway for our family winter and ski holidays. This year we chose to head in a different direction…

Fly (less than 2 hours flight and as little as £60 for a return ticket) with Norwegian, Easy Jet or British Airways to Salzburg. Rent a car or jump on a shuttle bus that will take you straight to the charming ski resort, Zell am See (approx. 1 hour drive from Salzburg). The area offers ski slopes up to more than 3000 metres above sea level, so expect lots of fresh mountain air and bring sun screen! Stay 200 meters away from the ski lift, in the family friendly boutique hotel Steinerwirt, offering 5 or 7 day ski packages with everything from ski pass and half board to roof top jacuzzi and nanny service included. Eat Austrian culinary specialities; share a big pan of Kasnocken, a spicy Goulash or a traditional Schnitzel. For dessert choose from Kaisersmarn, Germknödel with vanilla sauce, Apfelstrudel or Sache Torte…

Whatever you choose you’ll need to ski a lot to keep up with all the lovely food!

One week of snow and sun is over and we are back in London. Looking forward to catching up with you!
