After a short flight to Salzburg, you can jump into a rental car and head for he mountains, to the charming ski resort, Zell am See (approx. one hours drive from Salzburg). The area offers ski slopes up to more than 3000 metres above sea level, so expect lots of fresh mountain air and bring sun screen!

And because you deserve it, tuck into Austrian culinary specialities; share a big pan of Kasnocken, a spicy Goulash or a traditional Schnitzel. For dessert choose from Kaisersmarn, Germknödel with vanilla sauce, Apfelstrudel or Sache Torte…
I grew up with an annual ski holiday to this resort, so I know it very well indeed. It has of course changed a lot over the years. But it never fails to deliver, brilliant snow and atmosphere!
