Featuring over 80 art sculptures created from more than a million LEGO bricks by US artist Nathan Sawaya The Art of the Brick has been proclaimed by CNN as one of the ‘world’s 10 must-see exhibitions’. From new conceptual pieces to replicas of iconic classical artwork, this travelling exhibition would be of great interest for the entire family.
Nathan Sawaya is a New York-based artist who creates inspiring works of art out of unlike objects and material. His Art of The Brick creations, built from standard bricks over a period of more than 12 years, are simply stunning and will inspire and delight Lego fans in London this Autumn.
The exhibition is on until 4th January 2015 in the Old Truman Brewery, 15 Hanbury Street, London, E1 6QR.
During half term for best availability try to avoid the peak hours of 11am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, as these are always very busy and often sell out on the day. It’s strongly recommended you book in advance to secure tickets for your preferred time slot. Find out more at artofthebrick.co.uk
