Go eco friendly from an early age with the Elefant. a fun and colourful combined recycling system and stool, that encourages children to learn about waste sorting from an early age. The trunk lifts to accommodate large items such as cardboard boxes, whereas the tail spins to allow bottles to be deposited. Ethicool?

Oslo based design company Permafrost has created a modular seating system for children designed to evolve along with them, Stokke Steps combines the functions of baby bouncer, infant recliner, secure high-chair and adjustable children’s stool into a single product, thus meeting seating needs from birth all the way through childhood.

The Cool with Wool stools offers a fun filled and colourful design idea to a traditional piece of furniture. And I bet these stools are a lot more comfy to sit on than the bare pine ones! Also, the felted wool hemispheres that top the turned-birch stool can be removed, recombined and replaced at will, giving you the opportunity to customise it the way you want it.

This series of ash-wood chopping boards creates a mountain landscape when not in use, with the lines of the ash providing contour and shape to the three peaks. A wonderful way of introducing natural material and design to your selection of useful objects in the kitchen. This is a must have for any contemporary home.
