The designer Karin came up with the idea; STURE & FOLKE toddler blankets are the result of my wanting to give my own two sons, Sture and Folke, the warmest and softest baby blanket in which to sleep. I tried so hard to find something special that was not only warm and cozy but also playful and beautiful. I gave up searching and decided to make them myself. My aim was to make something not only for the cot but also for the buggy.
My inspiration comes from nature in Sweden (where I am from), watching my boys and our daily walks by Lake Geneva in magnificent Switzerland where we live. The spectrum of colours are taken from all that I see and love: flowers, water, birds, mountains, leaves, snow, clouds…

The STURE & FOLKE Blanket is made with satin inside and outside in soft cotton velvet and linen with an exciting line of different ribbons. Filled with polyester. All blankets may vary.
The blanket measure 125 x 90 cm and can be machine washed, warm 40C.
