Lego -creative toy or a battleground for equality

It was with limited interest we recently came across viral sensation, the 7 year olds letter addressed to Lego. The previous stunt to object to the new Lego Friends series for girls had just died out, so a new campaign was obviously due?

There’s immediately two questions that comes to mind. Is this letter for real, or is it planted by some smart marketing professional working for Lego? Then second, gathering the letter is indeed authentic -what on earth would make a 7 year old girl upset enough to write letters!? Seeing pink boxes in the toy shop? If that’s the case I’m sure she will have a lot of letters to write. If it was solely because she got bored when playing with it, well perhaps considering playing outside instead? That’s what I had to do when I was 7, and bored.

The brightly coloured plastic toy bricks was invented in Denmark. It’s popularity is confirmed by the fact that it’s been on the market for children’s toys for more than 80 years. There’s a wide range of series, from Duplo to advanced Lego Technic. The simple shaped original lego bricks from the Creative series is also undoubtedly a firm favourite.

Because you’ll never get bored with Lego. It is what you want it to be.
