Scandinavian bakery in Covent Garden, Bageriet London

The Swedish bakery, Bageriet London in Rose Street Covent Garden was our destination today, as Little A has an inset day and is off school. “It’s like hanging out in someone’s kitchen!” Little A exclaimed. And it really is; Panelled whitewashed walls, wood floor, shelves filled with sweet treats, two kitchen tables and soft wool cushioned seating, the smell of fresh coffee and cardamom whilst listening to classic music on the radio.

You’d share the table with fellow guests. It’s such a friendly place, with everyone chatting to each other. We were in for a brunch; Little A chose the vanilla cream sweet bun and I had the cinnamon roll. After tasting both I must admit Little A’s choice was probably the best one. Light and just a vanilla-cardamom heaven. bageriet.co.uk

Now we’re off to secure the Saturday Sweets at Sugar Sin. What a naughty and very sweet Friday spent in Covent Garden!
