Travel comfortably by ferry, from Harwich England to Esbjerg in Denmark with DFDS Seaways, prices from £75pp (Car plus 4, based on 4 sharing, One Way). Look out for offers and special discounts at dfdsseaways.co.uk
Where to stay
Rent a cottage! Denmark is lined up with charming self catering holiday homes, from traditional country cottages with old style thatched straw roof to contemporary and minimalistic grand design houses, depending on preferences and budget.

What to do
A definite must is to visit Legoland in Billund. It’s the birth place of the famous lego toy brick and a fantastic theme park with lots of fun rides and activities for the entire family.
We also recommend driving to Copenhagen to see the capital of Denmark. You’ll be amazed by the eclectic mix of architecture, traditional and modern side by side, the mouth watering open sandwiches served in many cafes and restaurants and the friendly bicycling city people. If you go to Copenhagen, visit the shopping centre for great Scandinavian design, Illum Bolighus and the enjoyable and nostalgic theme park Tivoli.
