The lemon is a small yellow fruit from the lemon tree, native to Asia. The fruit is used throughout the world, primarily for its juice. The distinctive sour taste of lemon juice makes it a key ingredient in drinks and foods such as lemonade.

The recipe we followed was 1 cup lemon juice, 1 cup water, sugar after taste.
Chop the lemons in twos (we used organic and unwaxed lemons) and use a Lemon Squeezer to to extract juice from the fruit. Let sugar and water simmer until disolved. Cool and mix with the lemon juice.
Now, it took a while to make a few glasses of this refreshing summer drink. Wonder how many lemons the girls will need for their planned new venture, their very own lemonade stall this summer.
