Dania – The Danish School in London opens in September 2013

Dania, the Danish School in Clerkenwell London founded by Eva Papesch, will opens its doors in September 2013 to bilingual Danish/English children age 4-7. (They may consider all Scandinavian speaking children for admission)
Dania will teach the curriculum of both countries and also celebrate the festivals and traditions of both cultures. Dania School is build on principles of Grundtvig, and is a Nordic alternative to Montessori and Steiner. The teaching principles are based on a spirit of freedom and disciplined creativity. The school is self-funded and aims to provide the highest quality of education and pastoral care at a competitive price, with the current fees being less than £7,000 each year.
