Crazy Golf with Bompass and Parr on the rooftop of Selfridges

What better way to spend a Monday afternoon than with some Crazy Golf with Bompass & Parr on the rooftop of Selfridges in Oxford Street?! We went along with Michelle from the trendy children’s online shop Quirky Collective and her beautiful girls, for some delicious tea and cake and some proper crazy mini golf surrounded by the skyline of Central London.

The entrance is in the Fragrance Hall on ground floor with an express lift taking us directly up to the rooftop. An outdoor restaurant flanked by Daylesford Organic vegetable garden looked more than inviting, as did the giant jug of Pimms to share among good friends on a sunny day. However we went for the tea and cake with our girls. Not long after the children were keen on embarking on their pro (mini) golf career -so we headed for the reception for our golf clubs (separate children’s ones in bright yellow!), golden golf balls and last but not least score card. We played our way through cakes, puddings, waterfalls and well known London landmarks like the Gherkin, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. As this was (as of lately) typical British summer day it soon started to drizzle, so the girls fetched a couple of colourful giant Crazy Golf umbrellas to share and we could carry on. You have max 6 goes, before you have to move on to next challenge. Some were really tricky, with small holes and lupes to overcome. All in all everyone really enjoyed themselves. Little A enjoyed Tower Bridge the most as the golf balls usually ended in the River Thames and she had to retrieve them for us. Little B enjoyed filling out the score card with the golden pencil. If you have a a couple of hours to spare, this is a unusual opportunity to do something completely different in London. Gorgeous organic food combined with crazy fun mini golf is a unbeatable combination for fun times with your friends or a day out with your family.
