Moomin shop in Covent Garden

The Moomins (Mumintroll in Scandinavia) are the characters in a series of books and a comic strip by the Swedish-Finnish illustrator and writer Tove Jansson. They are a family of trolls who are white and roundish, with large snouts that make them resemble hippos. The adventurous Moomin family live in their house in Moominvalley, in the forests of Finland. And now the Moomins have arrived in Covent Garden, London.

UK’s first Moomin shop has opened in London’s popular Covent Garden Market. The shop’s selection includes lots of different Moomin products ranging from books to toys and of course lovely Moomin textiles by Finlayson. A heart-warming experience for kids, the new shop magically recreates Moominvalley, a land of rural charm described in Tove Janssons original stories.

This store is nothing but a treat to all Moomin fans. Open from 10am-8pm Mondays to Saturdays and 11am-5pm on Sunday.
